Dr Keith Hammond
Dr Keith Hammond has been part of Annandale Dental since 1998 and continues to work on a part time basis until his retirement. Keith obtained his Bachelor of Science (Hons) from Bristol University in 1970, and then Marine Engineering and Administration with the National Health Service, to a Bachelor of Dental Surgery at University College, London in 1982.
His first appointment after arriving in Australia was as Dental Officer for Westmead Hospital, Parramatta 1982 – 1985. After years of experience, Keith had an epiphany, deciding never to use amalgam again! With this in mind, he became a founding member of the Australasian Society of Oral Medicine and Toxicology.
Dr Hammond’s interests apart from Endodontics (root canal treatment) also includes his passion for composite resin for direct veneers, build ups and the restoration of worn dentition.
Keith is now focussing a bit more on that retirement life and is enjoying renovating, travelling and having some well-deserved downtime with his family and grandchild.
